GARA IMPULSE is without question, the biggest revolution in recent decades in the field of freediving and spearfishing fins, with an unprecedented unanimity in the reaction of users of all types of profiles and physical conditions. The nerves of the Gara foot pocket have been recalibrated based on thousands of hours of testing by the Cressi team in order to define their ideal angulation, hardness and thickness, together with the new blade designed with engineering systems to calculate the levels of curvature, angulation and Ideal thicknesses at each point of the blade, have made many talk about performance clearly superior to many carbon blade fins.
BLADE
New version of fins with a high-reactivity-modulus polypropylene blade and new design with decreasing thickness (from 4 mm to 2 mm) and a new distribution of the reinforcements, which makes the arc very progressive, avoiding the tendency to skid, since the first half of the set is more rigid and the final half more flexible.
Blade with angulation of 29º against the traditional 21 to 23º. This angulation allows a flapping with the foot in a completely relaxed position and makes flapping soft and comfortable but highly effective both for surface movements and to overcome situations of great resistance to advance such as rising from the bottom, strong sea or the start of the descent with adjusted ballast.
The design of the end of the blade is slightly conical and integrates two spoilers in subtle thermoplastic rubber. This feature, together with the calculated progression of the blade flexing arc, makes the flapping stability of Impulse perfect.
FOOT POCKET
New design of the flaps of the foot pocket with reduced height in order to allow the adjustment of blades of any angle, not interfere in the reactivity of the blade and allow a greater arch to the blade.
Foot pocket volume resulting from deep anatomical studies, with volumes proportional to the broadening effect caused by the socks depending on the size of the foot, does not follow a fixed size-to-size ratio, since proportionally a small foot “fattens” much more than a large one when using neoprene socks.
Combine two materials:
The instep incorporates in its centre a band of 2 cm of width “Self-adjusting”, which allows a slight expansion (from 2 to 4 mm depending on size) to adapt to people with a high instep or in case of using thick socks. The dilation has been carefully calibrated so as not to impair the transmission of energy.

It combines two materials, recalibrated in terms of hardness and elasticity to improve the comfort-energy transmission ratio:
The foot pocket volume has been dimensioned after extensive anatomical studies, in such a way that the volumes are proportional to the widening effect caused by the boot depending on the size of the foot, it does not follow a fixed proportion size-to-size since proportionally a small foot " It fattens ”much more than a big one when putting on socks.
